Free Things to Do in Chengdu: The Alleys, the Monastery and the Museums That Cost Nothing
Eight things in Chengdu that cost nothing to enter, and two of them still need booking. Kuanzhai Alley, Jinli, Chunxi Road with Taikoo Li and Eastern Suburb Memory are open all day, and the side lanes are the worthwhile half of the first two. Wenshu Monastery keeps 08:00-17:00 and is in use as a monastery, not staged as a sight.
